It comes in its leather fitted case with the retailers sticker on the inside of the lid(John J Holgate, Post Office Arcade, Accrington). It is engraved with "To Gilbert Laraway ESQ, from the ex service men, at the re-opening & unveiling service at Melbourne ST. P.M. Church in revered memory of THE FALLEN 3-12-20" It is fully hallmarked with the makers mark "W.J.D" for William James Dingley, the anchor for Birmingham, the lion passant and date letter "V" for 1920. It measures approx 11.3 cm long and weighs 40.4 grams. Excellent condition, the leather fitted case is also in excellent condition.
